Low Voltage Electrical Authorised Persons

For a data centre project in Dublin, Ireland, we need Low Voltage Electrical Authorised Persons to start in June.

Responsibilities

• Organise and execute LV switching, isolation, earthing, and issue of safety documentation
• Ensure, so far as is reasonable and practicable, that all personnel observe and comply with relevant Safe Systems of Work.
• Evaluate, review, appoint and maintain a register of skilled/competent persons (including records of training and areas of responsibilities).
• Ability to carry out investigations with respect to near misses, incidents, and accidents.
• Assist with and coordinate on-site teams and sub-contractors, ensuring they complete tasks on time and safely to required standards.
• Allocate work and ensure completion in accordance with the project schedule and Cx Plan
• Adhere to all Statutory Standards and Regulations.
• Assist teams with resolving matters arising.
• Maintain effective health and safety systems, including completion of risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks, etc.
• Complete project documentation and reports accurately and concisely.
• Identify corrective actions and implementation of countermeasures to maximise productivity.
• Liaise with client managers daily and have a voice in project meetings.

Requirements

• Ability to use own initiative with a hands-on approach.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
• Experience of delivering efficient and effective services to customers whether on site or at a planning stage from an office environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Distribution Safety rules and their application.
• Safe Pass

Conditions

• Negotiable pay rate & conditions
• 3 month rolling contract (potentially long term)
• 50hrs per week (possibly more)
• Immediate start
