Planner
Our client are currently looking for experienced Planners to work on a data centre project in Holland.
Ideally you will have experience on similar projects including M&E works.
You must be an advanced user of P6.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Scheduler/Planner to lead planning/scheduling on a data centre campus, reporting to Project Director (involving civil, structural, architectural elements, but with a bias towards M&E install and commissioning).
- Managing a team of 2 or 3 other schedulers and fulfilling the duties of a Line Manager (eg career management, mentoring etc)
- Playing a full part as a member of the Project Senior Leadership Team
- Developing, then updating/progressing the contract/master schedule
- Completing the schedule/project controls sections in the weekly/monthly reports
- Developing and manging the GC's 'delivery' schedule
- Ensuring that all updates and reports are accurate and submitted in a timely manner
- Communicating the schedule requirements to all member of the GC, Client and Supply Chain in an effective and concise manner so that all parties are aware of what they need to do to achieve the schedule date
- Supporting the project delivery team in short term planning exercise, and ensuring the short term plans are captured in the Master/Contract schedule forecast
Required
- Experience of construction projects, with heavy M&E/Commissioning element
- Experience of data centre projects preferred, or alternatively projects in a similar 'technical' sector
- P6 advanced user essential
