Our client are currently looking for a Commercial Lead to work on Pharmaceutical Projects in Mainland Europe. 
Our client provides mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and commissioning services. The company offers engineering and construction services that range from project management, engineering detailed and field construction management, safety, QA/QC, constructability, project controls, procurement and contracts, material control, commissioning and handover, and maintenance. It specializes in managing, engineering, and executing electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, and HVAC projects within the hydrocarbons, energy, life sciences, data, commercial, and manufacturing business units worldwide.
Roles and responsibilities

  • Manage and review the commercial performance of the projects from cradle to grave
  • Experienced in Target Value Design project execution
  • Take full commercial control of the business unit assigned
  • Collation, review presentation and the management of subsequent actions arising from the monthly cost reviews
  • Manage the commercial team to engender their continuous improvement and technical development
  • Identity and manage the business unit risks and regularly review project risks and mitigation plans
  • Ensure the Cost Control Sheet reporting is formulated accurately and submitted on time
  • Manage the closeout of completed projects to the best commercial advantage of the company
  • Regularly review business processes and promote evolution of better working practices
  • To ensure all projects are driven to provide the best value solutions and delivered on time and within budget
  • Promote continuous improvement with the commercial discipline of the business
  • Mentoring and providing career guidance to the commercial team in your allocated business area 
  • Degree or trade qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
  • 10 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Legal knowledge and understanding of different types of contracts mainly Fidic, JCT & NEC
  • Proven track record for delivering exceptional quality pharmaceutical projects
  • Experience working with gated EPCMV project delivery process
